Three ways to get what you need

Use whichever fits the moment. They all live in the same app and the same account.

Send a buyer to shop for you

Write your shopping list and set a budget. Verified local buyers nearby bid to do it, you pick one, and you watch them shop and travel to you on a live map. Any price change is sent to you to approve before the buyer pays.

  • Works for markets, groceries, pharmacy runs and everyday errands
  • Smart suggestions as you type, in Swahili or English, with usual local prices
  • Buyers can ask you a question when an item is vague (for example "T shirt": which size and colour?)
  • Save shopping lists, reorder in one tap, or send an order to a favourite buyer

Order straight from a local shop

Browse shops near you (up to about 20 km), with photos, sizes, colours, prices and deals. Fill a cart, send the order, and the shop confirms what it has and the delivery fee. The shop sends its own courier, and you follow the delivery on the map.

  • Delivery fee is worked out from the road distance to you, and shown before you agree
  • Chat with the shop, and with the courier once they are on the way
  • See products from every side with 360° views, and compare prices for the same product across shops
  • No app needed: every shop has a web page at nunuapro.app/s/shop-name where you can order with just your phone number
  • Or skip the delivery: order ahead, say when you will arrive, and collect it at the shop with no delivery fee

Ask the shop before you buy

Not sure about the size, whether it is original, or whether the shop delivers to your area? Tap "Ask the shop" on any product, or on the shop itself, in the app or on the web. The shop answers and you are notified, by push notification or by SMS if you use the website.

  • The shop decides whether an answer is shown on the product page to help other customers
  • Your name is never shown, and a private answer is seen only by you
  • Phone numbers and WhatsApp links are blocked so your order stays protected inside Nunua Pro

New on Nunua Pro (October 2026)

Nunua Pro started as a personal shopping service and has grown into a full platform for customers, buyers and shops. Recent additions:

Order ahead, pick up in store

Order from a shop on your way and collect it when you arrive, with no delivery fee. Say when you will be there, the shop has it ready, and you show a 4-digit code at the counter. Pay in the app, or at the shop where it is allowed.

Local shop storefronts

Shops now have their own storefront on Nunua Pro. Customers browse Featured shops, order, pay and track the delivery, in the app or on the web.

Ask a shop a question

Questions and answers on every product and shop page. Shops choose whether to share an answer publicly.

The NunuaPro Business app

A new app for shop owners and their staff: manage the product catalog, run online orders, dispatch couriers, run promotions, reply to reviews and follow the money. It runs on phones, tablets and in a web browser.

Delivery priced by road distance

Each shop sets its own delivery rule (free within some kilometres, then a base fee plus a fee per kilometre). You see the exact fee for your address before you order.

Shop promotions

Shops run sales, "buy X pay Y" deals and free delivery over an amount, applied automatically at checkout.

Ratings and reviews for shops

Customers rate every shop order. Shops reply, and ratings and reliability help decide which shops are Featured.

NP Balance wallet

Refunds go to your NP Balance by default, and you can spend it on orders in full or in part.

A shared product catalog

Products are organised from generic to brand to exact item, with photos, sizes and 360° views, so shops list faster and customers find the right item.

Safer, smarter ordering

An 18+ confirmation for alcohol, live order notifications on your lock screen, and 48-hour disputes on shop orders with refunds to your NP Balance.

Verified buyers and couriers

Every buyer is verified and approved before accepting orders. You see their rating, completed orders and a verified badge.

You approve prices

On errand orders, a price change is shown to you for approval before the buyer pays. Shop orders show the shop's confirmed items and fee before you agree.

Refunds and disputes

Cancel a shop order for free until the shop starts preparing. Prepaid money goes back to your NP Balance, and you can open a dispute within 48 hours of delivery.

Private by design

Your location is shared only with the person delivering your active order. Shops see your first name, not your phone number, when you ask a question.

Responsible selling

Alcohol is for adults only: checkout asks you to confirm you are 18 or older and the courier may check ID.

Payments

Pay the way you already do

Pay with mobile money (M-Pesa, Tigo Pesa or Airtel Money), with cash on delivery where the buyer or shop accepts it, or with your NP Balance. There is no subscription for customers: the app is free, and you pay for your items plus the delivery or service fee.

What is Nunua Pro?
Nunua Pro is a shopping and delivery platform in Tanzania. You can send a verified buyer to shop for you, order straight from local shops that have an online storefront, or ask a shop a question before you buy. Deliveries are tracked live and paid with mobile money, cash or your NP Balance.
What is the difference between sending a buyer and ordering from a shop?
When you send a buyer, you write a shopping list and a verified buyer nearby goes to the market or store to buy it for you. When you order from a shop, you choose products from that shop's storefront at the shop's prices, the shop prepares the order, and its own courier delivers it.
Can I order from a shop without installing the app?
Yes. Every shop on Nunua Pro has a web page (nunuapro.app/s/shop-name) with its products. Add items to the cart, check out with your phone number and a text-message code, and follow the order on a web page. You are sent updates by SMS.
Can I collect my order at the shop instead of having it delivered?
Yes, at shops that offer in-store pickup. At checkout choose "I'll collect it", say roughly when you will arrive (for example in 30 minutes) and send the order. The shop confirms and tells you when it will be ready, you pay in the app (or at the shop if it allows, after your first order), and you get a 4-digit pickup code. Follow the directions to the shop, tap "I'm here", show your code at the counter and go. There is no delivery fee.
How is the delivery fee for a shop order worked out?
Each shop sets its own rule, based on the road distance from the shop to your address: often free within a short distance, then a base fee plus a fee per kilometre. You see the exact fee for your address before you place the order.
Can I ask a shop a question before I buy?
Yes. On a product page, tap "Ask the shop" (for example "Do you have size 42?"). The shop answers and you are notified. The shop may show the answer on the product page for other customers, without your name; otherwise only you see it. Up to three of your questions can be waiting at one shop.
How do I pay?
With mobile money (M-Pesa, Tigo Pesa, Airtel Money), cash on delivery where accepted, or your NP Balance. Refunds for cancelled prepaid orders go to your NP Balance.
What if something goes wrong with a shop order?
Chat with the shop or the courier in the app. You can cancel for free until the shop starts preparing, and open a dispute within 48 hours of delivery. Refunds are paid to your NP Balance.
Is Nunua Pro free?
The apps are free to download and there is no subscription for customers. You pay for your items and the delivery or service fee shown before you confirm.
Where is Nunua Pro available?
