(www.ajiriwa.net).
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information about you
when you use the Nunua Pro mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service.
2. Information We Collect
a) Information you provide directly:
- Full name, phone number, and email address when registering
- Profile photo (optional)
- Payment information (mobile money account details for payouts)
- Messages and communications within the app
- Order details and delivery instructions
b) Information collected automatically:
- Precise GPS location while using navigation or delivery features (with your permission)
- Device identifiers (device model, operating system, unique device ID)
- App usage data (features accessed, session duration, error logs)
- Push notification tokens for sending order and delivery updates
- IP address and connection metadata
c) Information from third parties:
- Authentication data from Google Sign-In (name, email, profile photo)
- Authentication data from Apple Sign-In (name, email)
3. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account
- To facilitate shopping, delivery, and payment services between customers and buyers
- To display your real-time location on the delivery map to the relevant customer
- To process earnings and service fee calculations
- To send order status updates, notifications, and service announcements
- To resolve disputes and provide customer support
- To detect fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service
- To improve and personalise the Service
- To comply with applicable laws and regulations
4. Location Data
Nunua Pro requests access to your device's location. The level of access differs by user role:
- Customers: Location is accessed only while the app is in the foreground — used to find nearby buyers and show your order on the map.
- Buyers (delivery agents): Location is accessed in the background during an active delivery so your real-time position can be shared with the customer whose order you are fulfilling. Background access is active only from the moment you mark an order as in-progress until you confirm delivery. You can revoke this permission at any time in your device settings.
Location data is transmitted to our servers and shared only with the customer associated
with the active order. We do not sell or share location data with advertisers or
unrelated third parties. Location tracking stops automatically when the delivery session ends.
5. Sharing of Information
We may share your information with:
- Other users: Your name, profile photo, and real-time location are shared with customers during an active order.
- Payment processors: Your phone number and transaction details are shared with ClickPesa (our primary payment gateway) and the underlying mobile money operators (Vodacom M-Pesa, Tigo Pesa, Airtel Money) to process payments and disbursements. ClickPesa is a licensed payment service provider regulated under Tanzanian financial services law.
- Service providers: Third-party vendors who assist us in operating the Service (e.g., Google Firebase for push notifications, crash reporting, and analytics; cloud hosting providers). These parties are contractually bound to protect your data.
- Legal authorities: When required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of Ajiriwa Network, our users, or the public.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
6. Data Retention and Account Deletion
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service.
You can delete your account directly from within the app — go to Profile → Delete Account.
Upon deletion, all personally identifiable information (name, email, phone number) is permanently
removed from your account. Financial records (orders, earnings, payouts) are retained for a
limited period for legal, audit, and dispute-resolution purposes, but are no longer linked to
any identifiable individual. You may also contact us at

7. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS),
secure token-based authentication, and restricted access controls. However, no method of
transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to
protect your account credentials and notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect
personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data,
please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Withdraw consent for location access (through your device settings)
- Object to or restrict certain processing of your data

10. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
- ClickPesa – Payment processing and mobile money disbursements. Shares your phone number and transaction data with ClickPesa and underlying mobile money operators (Vodacom, Tigo, Airtel).
- Google Firebase – Push notifications (FCM), crash reporting, and analytics. May collect device identifiers and app usage data.
- Google Sign-In – Social login. Shares your Google profile (name, email, photo) with Nunua Pro upon sign-in.
- Apple Sign-In – Social login (iOS). Shares your name and email (or Apple-relayed email) with Nunua Pro upon sign-in.
- OpenStreetMap / OSRM – Route mapping and turn-by-turn navigation. Your route origin and destination coordinates are sent to OSRM's public routing API to calculate directions.
- Laravel Cloud / hosting provider – Application hosting and database infrastructure. Your data is stored on servers in compliance with applicable data protection standards.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes
by updating the "Last Updated" date above and, where appropriate, through an in-app notification.
Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
