About this page

This page explains how to delete your Nunua Pro or Nunua Pro Buyer account, operated by Ajiriwa Network (www.ajiriwa.net). Deleting your account is permanent — once it is processed, you will no longer be able to sign in or recover the account.

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (fastest)

You can delete your account directly inside either app without contacting us:

  1. Open the Nunua Pro (customer) or Nunua Pro Buyer app and sign in.
  2. Tap the Profile or Settings tab.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
  4. Confirm when prompted. Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out on all devices.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app — for example, you have lost your phone, can no longer sign in, or have already uninstalled — email us from the address associated with your account:

Include: the phone number or email you registered with, and which app (customer or buyer).

We will verify your identity and process the request within 7 business days. We may contact you on your registered number to confirm before deleting.

What is deleted

When your account is deleted, the following personal data is removed immediately from our active systems:

Deleted

  • Your name, email and phone number
  • Profile photo and any uploaded ID documents
  • Date of birth, gender, language preference
  • Saved delivery addresses
  • Home/base location and service area
  • Google or Apple sign-in linkage
  • Push-notification token (no more notifications)
  • All active sessions (signed out on every device)

Retained (anonymized)

  • Order records and shopping lists
  • Payment and payout transaction records
  • Bids you placed or accepted
  • Ratings and reviews you gave or received
  • Chat messages tied to past orders

The retained records are no longer linked to your identity — your row is replaced with a placeholder ("Deleted User") and contains no personal information.

Why we retain anonymized records

Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) and Bank of Tanzania regulations require us to keep transactional and financial records for accounting and audit purposes. We therefore retain orders, payments, payouts, bids and ratings in anonymized form for up to seven (7) years from the date of the transaction, after which they are permanently purged.

Backups containing your data are rotated out within 30 days of the deletion.

If you change your mind

Account deletion is immediate and irreversible. We do not offer a grace period or restoration. If you want to use Nunua Pro again later, you will need to register a fresh account.
